Saw a young couple sat in a sad silence on the train this morning, and they both looked as though they had been crying before they left home...

In the country where I am from, we say that S. Valentine is the Perugina (now owned by Nestlè) happy day. Perugina is the Italian company that produces the famous "Bacio" or "Choccolate Kiss", the most boring and common present given on S. Valentine Day.

Better a dull chocolate that than the tears I saw on the train that morning! Have to admit I did eventually sucumb to the promotional vibe found in all shops this year - what's next? Ah yes, Easter eggs...!

I like VD! All the decorations and heart shaped chocolates make me smile :-)
